Serviceplan and GfK unveil the finalists for the Best Brands Awards 2018

Serviceplan and GfK have just revealed the list of finalists for the Best Brands Awards 2018. Thanks to the independent study carried out by GfK, we now know which brands achieved the highest scores this year.

By way of a reminder, this study is based on the analysis of over 300 brands with 3,500 households, taking into account two factors: the brand's real economic success in its market, and its emotional dimension for consumers.

In the Best Product Brands category, the 10 finalists for the award are:

• Coca-Cola

• Colruyt

• Dreft

• Ikea

• Jupiler

• Nivea

• Philips

• Samsung

• Tui


The 10 final candidates in the new category launched this year, Best Growth Brands, which analyses the brands that have experienced the largest positive growth in the past 12 months, are:

• Belfius

• Calor

• Dove

• Dovy

• Dyson

• Gillette


• Lidl

• Martini

• Orange

The 10 brands in the Best Digital Brands category are as follows:



• Decathlon

• Ikea

• Krë

• Media Markt

• Proximus

• Samsung Electronics

• Tui


The 10 finalists having reached the final in the Best Corporate Brands category are:

• Apple Inc.

• Colruyt Group

• Facebook Inc.

• Ikea

• MasterCard

• Microsoft Corp.

• Samsung

• Sony Corp.

• The Coca-Cola Company

• Walt Disney Company

The four winners will be announced on 22 March at the 2018 Best Brands Awards gala evening to be held at the Cinquantenaire Museum in Brussels with, as guest musical act, Siska and Her Brand.
